Greenpark Badminton Court

Time to shed off those extra pounds. Finally, I was able to join Ruthie and other QA peeps for their weekly badminton match at Greenpark. I had a lot of fun. We used to play a lot of badminton way way back - ruthie, aimz, Sonia, twinhearts, Janis and other officemates. Yeah, those were the days and I miss hanging out with them.

This is one sports that I really like other than swimming. One particular health benefit of playing badminton is protection from heart diseases. It strengthens the heart muscles besides reducing hypertension and keeping blood vessels from clogging. People with pre-existing heart disease are actually advised to play this sports but of course, with moderation.

After the 2 hour match, Ruth and I went to FF for our favorite retro dance. I missed 3 months of going to the gym since I got focused more on my other blog. I know, I should be managing my time better. I'll try to go to the gym everyday starting tomorrow. I'll be on training for 2 weeks and that gives me time to attend the session every night.
