Every year, our company have this costume parties for our year end event. We've done Medieval, Hollywood and 70's already. Last year's theme was ROCKSTAR NIGHT and it was a lot of fun! We were all feeling it - you know, the rockstar spirit with all those leather pants, boots and chuck taylors. It's definitely one of the events I look forward to each year. 2 years ago, we had a HOLLYWOOD movies theme party in the office. Each team was assigned to do a movie adaptation of their choice. Some of the teams adapted cartoon films which was very creative, while others adapted action, historical and medieval movies. The winning team made the BATMAN MOVIE adaptation and I was really amazed on how they've come up with their own costumes and designs from Robin to Poison Ivy to Joker. They really deserve to win the grand prize for their efforts. I wonder how they made their costumes. Was it customized? Here in the Philippines, it's rare to see people donning costumes, masks and wigs at parties. I think that's because it's not part of our culture plus there are not many available resources.
